Thirteen IAS staff members were awarded Excellence Awards at this year's Excellence Awards ceremony held on October 13 at Fairfax High School.  The award categories were in Growth, Impact on Others, Innovation and Student Achievement. Patty Washington, the School Based Technology Specialist was recognized in the Growth category, Christine McKinney, School Counselor was recognized in the Individual category of Impact on Others, our Residential Team consisting of Betsy Geddes, Susan Lemarie, Brian Miller, Kelly Morgan and Adam Wong were recognized in the team Impact on Others category. Our Administrative team consisting of Alison Cordo, Brandon Morehead, Michaelle O'Brien and David Penland received an award in Innovation and Our GED Readiness team, Nora Kuehn and Kelcy Pierre were recognized in the Student Achievement category.  Congratulations and thank you for your dedication and commitment to our students and staff.
