Ms. Richards Recognized as the FCPS 2022 Non-Region Outstanding School-Based Operational Employee
Ms. Cordo, Ms. Lyon, and Ms. Pierre Also Recognized at FCPS Honors!
Congratulations to student information assistant Linda Richards who was recognized as the FCPS 2022 Non-Region Outstanding School-Based Operational Employee and one of the six finalists for the FCPS Outstanding School-Based Operational Employee at this year's FCPS Honors event, held at George Mason University Center for the Arts on June 8th.
As a student information assistant (SIA) for Falls Church, Westfield, and Interagency Alternative Schools (IAS), Linda Richards makes an impact with everyone she meets. Whether she was coaching softball, representing the staff in talent shows, or singing the National Anthem at graduations, Linda is deeply rooted and involved at each school. Linda has built positive relationships with fellow SIAs across the county, as well as those in the Hearings Office, Juvenile Detention Center, and other IAS partners. She skillfully supports over 130 staff and shares her knowledge with all partners to strengthen their potential to help others. She is the enthusiastic voice of IAS as she is often the first person you hear when you call.
